Refund policy
You have 14 days from each payment to request a full refund, for any reason.
1. Who handles payments
Omega Writer payments are processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record for all our orders. That is why refunds are processed through Paddle and returned to the same payment method you used.
2. Time limit
You can request a refund within 14 days after any of these payments:
- the first purchase of a plan, monthly or yearly;
- each plan renewal;
- the difference charged when you move to a plan with more hours;
- hour top-ups.
You don't need to explain why.
3. How to request it
- Directly from Paddle: go to paddle.net, look up your order with the email you used to pay and request the refund.
- Or write to us at info@omegawriter.app from your account email, stating the date of the payment. We will process it with Paddle.
Once approved, how long it takes for the money to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
4. What happens to the hours
When a payment is refunded, the hours that payment credited are removed from the organization's balance. If you already used them, the refund is still made; only the remaining hours are deducted.
The 3 trial hours for new accounts are free, so they are not eligible for a refund.
5. Canceling is not the same as getting a refund
Canceling your plan from Plan and payments stops it from renewing, but does not refund the last payment: the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. If you also want your money back and you are within the 14 days, request the refund as described above.
6. Your rights
This policy does not limit the rights the law of your country grants you as a consumer.
This document is a translation; if there are differences between the versions, the Spanish version prevails.
